All good with me. It will look better once there's a few Brit's booked on too.

OK, set up Craig for admin. Looks like Yith will be bringing all their Doughboy's admin tentage and shizzle.

I was just thinking. It's it's hot and dry, the Germans will need access to plenty of drinking water. Can we make sure we put water stations at points around the site. The HQ building, the cottage and both the caches?

BTW, just noticed that on the WW2 Airsoft home page Hut 9 doesn't appear. Is it worth putting it up there? I'll also post it on the Gunman forum, FWIW.

Yes, I will post it up on the WW2 website, CiA website and Facebook but I can't just yet. I'll have a go over the weekend if I have time.

I've set up a Hut 9 section so we don't try and organise an event on a single thread!

Guys, I have to say, I am a little concerned about the total lack of British interest or discussion on the forum for this.

The AGS Crete game has plenty of Brits booked on. I'm really not sure why there's a lack of interest.

We have only just announced it. The only chaps who have booked so far were on the training day so limited interest there too. The days of booking lists filling instantly have long gone - Crete has been booking for months now!

Hmm, I suppose. It's just the lack of any comment or traffic that I find more worrying.

Yes, I think across all games there is a bit of a 'meh' attitude. No one seems to be excited like in the 'old' days!

All true. My point about regression to the days of airsofters just wanting to fire there guns and dress up has proven to be pretty accurate. Early days yet though, if we don't get any Brit's by the end of April, then I'll be concerned.

Good stuff. I have put a post up on the main thread, hoping to elicit a response from the so far absent Brit's.

Following Martin's post I've expanded on the 'no shooty' concept...

Oooh, and I changed Pete's name! :slap: to the actual name of the local farm owner - Garfield Davies, Newbridge Farm

Erm, that might land us in a bit of defamation! ;)

I've set up a sub forum for the British and start selling the side a bit more - but I thought I'd keep it open for all to see. Clearly I'll keep detailed briefings to the day, but I thought it would be fun if I introduce your character Pete as being on our side - the Germans can have a quiet giggle as they know otherwise.

Good idea. I was going to play the character as someone who was part of the British resistance movement, prepared for the German invasion that never came but, has been a German agent all along. I could also be a member of the home guard, say, an officer, which should avoid being detained and hassled by the likes of Yith and co. I'll just wear an armband for that. It gives me the flexibility to just wander into the Brit camp as well if I need to chat to you about something.

Excellent. And a good excuse NOT to send parties to search your farm. Until the penny drops on Sunday morning and I realise you have been collaborating. And they will discover sleeping bags and other evidence of multiple occupation.
